Guangzhou: Dart beats Badosa 3-6 6-2 6-4 to reach the semi-final

Harriet Dart, ranked No. 115, beat Paula Badosa 3-6 6-2 6-4 in the Quarter-final in Guangzhou. Dart lost the first set and won the next two. She hit 7 aces to Badosa’s 2.

Lilli Tagger, ranked No. 53, beat Han Shi 6-4 3-6 7-5. Both players hit 6 aces. Tagger took the last set 7-5, and the serve stayed level to the end.

Xinran Sun, ranked No. 405, beat Claire Liu 7-5 7-6. Each player hit 7 aces, so the serve could not split them. Sun took both sets by the narrowest margins.

Kaitlin Quevedo, ranked No. 86, beat J. Teichmann 7-6 6-3. Each player hit 5 aces and 6 double faults. Quevedo took the first set 7-6 and the second 6-3.
